Thank you for this. My family is currently going through a great time of spiritual warfare. I am working to learn to trust and listen to God and get closer to him. In reply to Crystal B. Also. By not taking them to church, we're deciding for them to not learn about a basic value our society structure and value system was built on. We're deciding for them what their choice will be. Doesn't that go against the very principle our society is built on? Oir kids cant choose church if they dont know about it.

In reply to Becky. Becky: Thanks! That was my exact thought. I read once that taking young kids to church is hard (so, so, so true) but, even if it seems impossible that they are taking anything away from the meetings, their spirit is learning even if their bodies are not ready to yet.

I love it that you are thoughtfully planting seeds of the gospel in your kids’ minds. You are putting important words and concepts there so that someday, when they need those words and are mature enough to have a deeper understanding of those words, they are there. You can’t recall something you’ve never learned but the spirit can bring to your remembrance something you already know, & usually just when you need it. You are giving your kids a lifelong blessing!
