Best Way to Sell Unwanted Items – Swap.com Kids’ Consignment

We’re moving in two months’ time to a different state. As such we’ve been analyzing everything we own, trying to determine if we should keep, try to sell, donate, or trash certain items. If you are trying to sell baby goods in an older, established area, it might not work so well. Or if you live in a college town, you might have a hard time selling antiques or items that have a higher value.

I have never sold items through consignment sales, but it has a major advantage over other options in that I can declutter my home right away. I can gather all my items, at one time, and drop them off for someone else to sell and list and advertise and do all the work, as opposed to waiting days, weeks, or even months to sell an item off Craigslist or ebay; or have sit to outside for an entire weekend trying to sell stuff via a garage sale.

And I wouldn’t have to do any work! I wouldn’t have to take photographs or list them myself (like I’ve been doing) or schedule meet-ups or drive anywhere or have these unwanted items in my house for longer than I want.
