A Year of Dates – Month Five Date Nights

In case you missed it, I gave my husband a year of date nights for Christmas this last year.  Each month he has two planned dates ready for him – one is an at-home date night, and the other is a date night out.  He just has to pick the days to do them.

Our Date Night In

For the month of May, month five, we had a fun night laughing at home at our favorite comedians. We both love Brian Regan and Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan.  To make it extra fun, we could have got some MadLibs, or tried our hand at telling some jokes.

My May envelope read:

Dear Josh,
Let’s laugh and have fun a Comedy Club Night at home. 
And then let’s enjoy the renewing spirit of the temple!

Our Date Night Out

We made it a goal to get to the temple this month, and to the temple we went!  We brought our kids with us on our date night out, again, but we’ve been wanting to take our girls down to see the temple for a long time.  We got our recommends renewed and planned our trip, and made it happen!  I blogged about our trip in THIS post.
