Several months ago, I shared with you my 17 Best Baking Soda Uses for Cleaning Your Kitchen.
While I was working on that project, I also had the pleasure of helping Katelyn with her live Facebook cleaning tutorials for HomeTalk where she shared how to clean various things in her home. How to Clean The Bathroom with Baking Soda
Hate cleaning but love a clean house? Pick up this printable Spring Cleaning Bundle and you'll be able to clean it all without feeling overwhelmed!
We all have those least-favorite chores we avoid. If the bathroom is yours, remember the wise old saying – “eat a frog first thing in the morning, and the rest of the day is cake!”
In other words, if you hate cleaning the bathroom, dive right in and get it done and then move on. I mean, treat yourself to a spa day after that – you deserve it! Remember these simple helps:
- Eat that frog – get it done first and move on!
- Have the right cleaning tools – if you wait to gather tools until you need them, it’s just another way of putting off the inevitable and making it drag out longer!
- Have a planned cleaning time. And stick to it. You’ll dread it more if you just keep putting it off. Plan it and get it over with!
- Turn on the music. Turn on your favorite upbeat music while you’re cleaning.
While you can use all sorts of different bathroom cleaners, I’m focusing on the amazing natural cleaning and deodorizing power of baking soda to clean a bathroom!
These tutorials use baking soda in conjunction with a few other common ingredients such as:
- Water
- Vinegar
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Essential oils
- Dish soap.
It is likely you have all these items in stock. If not… they are worthy ‘pantry items’ to add to your next shopping list. Whatever you do… don’t forget the baking soda!
