I know Queen Elsa is more popular than her sister, Princess Anna, from Disney’s Frozen. Which is a shame because I love Anna’s deep sisterly love! But, what are you going to do about her lack of super power, and long awesome capes? If you want to DIY an Elsa Dress, see my previous post. This post though is featuring my favorite Princess from Frozen – Anna! Here’s a collection of DIY Anna Costumes you can make yourself. And if you end up running out of time, or not really wanting to DIY, there’s always Etsy!
Elsa costumes are so much fun to make and create really easy costume ideas. I actually prefer using the free patterns below to store-bought costumes, any day. The best part is that you can just add some black boots and the costume is complete! This is perfect for any household with Frozen fever!

Katelyn, what an awesome compilation. I am pinning this because I still need to make a cape for Elise’s Princess Anna dress up apron. Thank you so much for including my design in your list!

PS – I’m loving the site redesign. How are you liking the sidebar on the left?
Katelyn Fagan says
Thanks Sarah!! And you are welcome for the share! Your aprons are so cute and such a great idea for playtime! Easy on and off and can grow with your child for a long time. And as for my site redesign, I don’t know. Verdict’s still out. I’ve heard that the sidebar on the left is better for monetization and bounce rates. We’ll see.

I am finishing up a Princess Anna costume of my own! I used the pattern from Joy2sew.blogspot.com. It has worked out wonderfully! Instead of paint, I used felt and Heat n’ Bond. It is just beautiful!

She is very talented for sure! I shared her Elsa one in a different post (just like this one, but for Elsa, not Anna).
