Need some pregnant Halloween costumes inspiration? Yeah, me too! Check out these cute pregnant Halloween costumes others have made and worn!
We just welcomed our fourth (and final) baby to our home. And for three of those four pregnancies, I was pregnant over Halloween.
Embarrassingly, I did not manage to pull off a single cute pregnant costume – though I did pull together some sweet family costumes each year.
And now that our final little one is here, I’m actually feeling a bit sad about missing the chance to do a pregnant costume.
I’ve pulled together an awesome list of costume ideas that you could really rock. I’ll just have to live vicariously through you!
Pregnant Halloween Costumes that Disguise Your Belly

Here are four costumes that disguise your belly. If you weren’t ready to announce your pregnancy yet, you could easily pull off the ghost costume and still look fantastically glamorous. I really love the ghost one. In fact, that looks like a super simple DIY if you ask me.
Pregnant Halloween Costumes with Baby Peeking Out
(Links to costume ideas clockwise from top left: Kangaroo Baby Idea from Baby Prepping; Baby Peeking Shirt on Etsy; Baby Mummy by Giovanna Poucel Photography; Skeleton & Baby available on Etsy)
We have all seen the super creepy pregnant Halloween costumes where the baby is breaking out through mommy’s belly. I can’t stand it. It just gives me the heebie-jeebies. But these ones are cute if you want to give the baby a bit of the credit too.
Pregnant Halloween Costumes that Emphasize Baby Belly
(Links to costume ideas clockwise from top left: Kitty with Ball of Yarn Source Unknown; Aquarium by Brit+Co; Bubble Gum Machine Posted by Art Photography AZ; Death Star posted on Imgur but you can find a similar shirt on Etsy as well as an Iron-On Death Star)
First, I apologize for the profanity in the username for the Imgur account that posted the Death Star. But it was the most awesome one I found and I just couldn’t pass it up! So amazing right?! I’m actually thinking that with a bit of tweaking that would make an awesome “Bad Christmas Sweater” too – maybe with some battery operated lights, or garland, or something. . .
Pregnant Halloween Costumes that Celebrate the Belly
(Links to costume ideas clockwise from top left: Pumpkin on the Vine by Birchbox; Mother Earth as highlighted on NPR; Bird with Nest by Costume-Works; Fortune Teller as posted by Amber M on Coolest Homemade Costumes)
I’m going to be honest: I’m not brave enough to pull any of these off but they are beautiful and the moms are gorgeous. So, if you are braver than me . . . do it!
I am excited to see what Katelyn herself decides to do this year with her growing baby bump, as it’s the first year she’ll have a big enough bump to play with during Halloween!

What a bunch of fun ideas! It wouldn’t be so hard for our pregnant friends to decide what to dress up this Halloween after all. Thanks for sharing all these Crystal 😉
