If you are wondering how to pamper your dad for Father’s Day (or any other time of the year) here are some simple, thoughtful gifts to pamper dad!
It’s hard to find a good gift sometimes for dads! When it comes to the perfect gift idea, is there even one out there? Why not think of unique gift ideas instead?
Instead of giving endless gifts and just guessing if they’re a good idea or not, give your favorite guy some fun ideas and gifts instead. These are the best dad gifts for a dad who wants nothing!
This post is sponsored by Chemical Guys. All opinions are my own.
It’s no secret that I love my father and the father of my children. Dads are incredibly important in a child’s life and totally deserve a day to be celebrated for everything they are, everything they do, and how wonderfully they love.
My husband is such a great partner and is so good at pampering me all year long, and I am not so great at pampering him.
I thought it would be fun to put together a list of ways kids (and spouses) can pamper the various dads in their lives. Most men aren’t keen on bubble baths, so it can be weird to think of pampering and men working well together, right? But, there are totally some great gifts to pamper dad, and dad may actually enjoy that bubble bath. 😏
The best part about these pampering gifts is that most don’t cost much, and all are thoughtful gifts for dad.
How to Pamper Dad – Pampering Gift Ideas for Him
Giving your dad a meaningful gift doesn’t have to be stressful. At the end of the day, it’s the thought that counts! But just in case you need some ideas, start here! All kinds of dads will love to be pampered by this list! These are seriously some of the best gift ideas!
Pamper Dad’s Car
If your dad is a car guy, or even if he isn’t that much, it can still be an awesome treat to pamper him with a good detailed cleaning of his car for Father’s Day, especially if he spends a lot of time in his car commuting to and from work.
To make it super easy to detail the car, and do a really amazing job of it, order The Chemical Guy’s All Season Arsenal Builder Kit.
It has everything you need for detailing his car for him, and Chemical Guys has hundreds of videos showing you how to use their products, including handy step-by-step tips and directions so you feel confident washing his precious vehicle. Plus, their products can be used for cars, trucks, RVs, and motorcycles.
My kids and I washed up and shined up our family vehicle – our white 2019 Nissan NV Passenger using this All Season Arsenal Builder Kit. It’s a beast of a vehicle, and after our recent summer road trip, needed a good scrub and clean.
The products have great instructions on the back, and are easy to use. I also followed their detailing flow chart. For products I wasn’t sure about, I just pulled up their corresponding Youtube video (because my husband is the car guy, not me).
Chemical Guys products are the best-rated car cleaning products on Amazon and will help you do this job like a pro, and be able to keep pampering him again and again!
Check out The Chemical Guys’ Father’s Day Gift Guide for other car-related gifts, including their Best Detailing Kit.
Pamper Dad’s Appetite
Every man loves good food. You can make your husband breakfast in bed, his favorite meal or dinner, take him out to his favorite restaurant or treat, bake him his favorite dessert, or buy him his favorite candy.
The possibilities are as varied as your dad, so make something he loves and he’ll be sure to feel special and pampered by his family!
Pamper His Body
Encourage him to take a long soak in the tub with some Epsom salts or bath bombs (just maybe bath bombs without glitter). Then give him a foot massage or back massage.
Apply some lotion to his hands or do some fun facial masks with him, or gift him a shaving or grooming kit.
Men don’t often take time to pamper their bodies, but if they can do it with their family, it makes it more fun and creates some epic memories (just maybe not the actual bathing part 😆).
Pamper His Environment
Clean up your dad’s spaces. Whether it’s his home office, his closet, or whatever, work to clean it up for him! You can vacuum, dust, organize, throw out trash, clean windows and screens, and so on. You can even do things like deep clean his watch, phone, or wallet, just make sure to use the appropriate cleaning methods.
I know my husband always loves coming home to a clean home, free of clutter. It helps him relax and destress, two keys to pampering! Be sure to light a manly candle for a nice extra sensory dose of pampering!
You could also put cute little notes or cards in places he visits frequently that share things you love about him!
Pamper His Time
Dads can be busy people. Take over some of dad’s chores for the day (or week). This could mean mowing the lawn or edging the lawn instead of him having to do it again.
It could mean watering the plants, or taking out the trash, or cooking dinner. Whatever dad’s household chores are, you can pamper his time by taking them over. You could consider doing this via Love Coupons for Him too.
Pamper His Self-Esteem
Men often don’t get the praise and love they so crave! Be sure to pamper your dad with kisses, hugs, snuggles, compliments, congratulations, gratitude, love notes, and other flattering words and affections!
Dads need to be pampered to lift up their spirit, boost their confidence, and make them feel respected and appreciated.
See this other post on fun ways to give words of affirmation to him for other ideas.
Pamper His Fun Side and Sense of Humor
Let him bring on the dad jokes and invite him to play with you!
Pamper him by doing fun stuff with him, stuff he likes to do, like playing his favorite video games, board games, or card games with him. Maybe it’s playing his favorite sport, watching a certain movie or TV show together, taking a simple walk, or completing a puzzle.
Pamper him by joking around, laughing at his jokes, listening to him tell (the same) stories with rapt attention, and asking him questions about himself.
Pamper His Clothes
Men don’t always treat their clothes with the care they may need. Some are downright rough on their clothing!
You can pamper dad’s clothes by not just washing and putting them away for him (but that’s amazing in itself), but by also taking time the time to really pamper his clothes.
Pamper his clothes by removing grease, oil, food, blood, and other stains on them. You can also mend them, by fixing broken zippers, holes, or seams, or by sewing buttons back on.
If his clothes require dry cleaning, you can take them to be dry cleaned. You can steam wrinkles out of his shirts, clean his ties, polish and shine his shoes, or otherwise freshen up and improve his wardrobe
And hey, maybe even gift him some new, clean clothes, a tie, or shoes while you are at it. Maybe even gift him a Stitch Fix Mens gift card.
