Want to know how to remove scratches from dinnerware? The good news is I’ve figured out an easy and effective way to remove scratch marks from plates and other dishes!
As I prepared to leave for college my mother bought me a set of Corelle dishes. My husband also had some that he added to our collection once we were married.
While we have loved them, we have broken many of them, and scratched the rest. As a frugal person, I like to keep what I have nice looking as long as possible, so I really wanted to learn how to remove scratches from dinnerware, specifically my ceramic plates and bowls.

How to Remove Scratches from Dinnerware
I looked up how to remove scratches from dishes, and I found many people raving about how easy it was to do if you used one of my favorite products – Bar Keepers Friend. For a few dollars, that little golden canister does a whole lot around the house, especially in the kitchen.
I didn’t want to scrub my dishes with something too abrasive like a scour pad, so I grabbed some Viva® Vantage® to help me scrub as they have a nice scrubby texture with a terry cloth feel. They are great towels for scrubbing toothpaste off bathroom counters, shining stainless steel appliances and glassware, as well as scrubbing off grime on stove tops.
I figured they’d be perfect to help me get my dinnerware looking fantastic.
