Want to know how to clean stainless steel pizza pans? I’ve found a great cleaning product for the job!
My friend just told me about a great product called Bar Keepers Friend. She said used it to get her stainless steel pots and pans shining like new and that it was super simple and easy to use.
I’m all for that so, I picked up a can of powdered Bar Keepers Friend from Target (and Wal-mart apparently has a spray version as well, just in case you want to know where to buy Bar Keepers Friend). I wanted to use Bar Keepers Friend on stainless steel pizza pans we have.

I pulled out an old pizza pan my husband brought into our marriage over five years ago, that I have never seen shiny or silver. It has always bugged me how nasty and dirty it is. We almost always cover it with aluminum foil or parchment paper when we cook on it because it’s so gross.
Check out my tutorial to see how I use Bar Keepers Friend on it and saw it silver for the first time ever!

I use bar keepers friend to clean my ceramic cook top. I wet the top with water then sprinkle on the bar keepers and the rub it around and make a paste adding more water if needed. Then let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then go back and use a non abrasive pad to get the gunk off.

I’ve used Barkeepers Friend for YEARS! Try it on your stainless steel sink. I, too, use it on my ceramic top stove. I use it everywhere I have stainless — and it is wonderful. There’s a REASON it is called Barkeeper’s Friend. My daughter (age 25) is a bartender. Her bar had never heard of it. The stuff there was kinda gross (good thing no one could see it, LOL). She swiped my can (I prefer the canned type; I’ve tried the others, but the powder is much better!) and took it to work. She sparkled up that bar so nicely. Her boss could not believe it. Oddly, I’ve known her boss for years, just didn’t realize he owned THAT bar as well. She told him about this, and now all his bars use it. She is considered a genius; she has not told them it is her MOM that is a genius for some reason. Try this everywhere, it is great!

Hey Katelyn, I thought that I’d visited your place before, but this looks kind of new to me. I apologize for not getting here sooner, if that’s the case. You’ve been a great link-up partner on Wedded Wed and with my recent health crisis, I’ve missed connecting with everyone who links up. I love this post. I just bought Bar Keeper’s Friend because I’d heard people highly recommend it. I just didn’t know to use it on my stainless steel pots! Good to know! Thanks so much for your support of Messy Marriage and your friendship with me!

I have meant to buy this product before…..for another job – I think I read that it could work on removing those gray/black marks/scratches that can appear on dishes – like Corelle……I couldn’t find where to buy it….and then forgot. Thank you for posting.
