If you are wondering if you can use EBT with Walmart Grocery Pickup, this post will go over all you need to know about using Food Stamps with this service.
I have been a fan of Walmart Grocery Pickup for many years now!
After a friend introduced me to Walmart Grocery Pickup, I started using it weekly for our meal plans and regular grocery orders. It saved me so much time and drama, as I didn’t have to cart my family with four, and then five, kids across the store with me.
I also found I save quite a bit of money as I didn’t get distracted by items as I roamed the aisles.

Does Walmart Grocery Pickup Accept EBT?
While you can’t use coupons, they do now accept SNAP/EBT (food stamps) at all participating Walmart Online Grocery locations.
They used to only have a few states that accepted EBT starting in 2018 or 2019, but have since rolled it out nationwide.
How do you use your EBT card with Walmart Grocery Pickup?
To use your EBT card to pay for your groceries, select EBT card as the payment method when you place your order.
You will have to enter in additional credit card information to pay for non-food, and non-EBT eligible items in your cart. They do NOT currently accept Walmart Gift Cards or eGift Cards.
You’ll then present it when you arrive at your store’s pickup location (so be sure to have it on you).
However, in New York State, Washington, Iowa, and Oregon, they are piloting a program that will allow you to use your EBT card directly on the website. More states are likely to follow.

Does Walmart Grocery Pickup Take WIC?
At this time, no, they do not accept WIC or eWIC. You will still have to go in-store in order to redeem your WIC benefits still.

We tried this for our large family of ten and it worked! You have to pay the tax with another form of payment, so be prepared for that.
