Curious what you’ll get in the Noobie Nest Box? Read on for my Noobie Nest Unboxing and Noobie Nest Box review PLUS promo code!
Several years ago I got a Free Noobie Box for pregnant women. I even did a Noobie Pregnancy Box unboxing and review video for my Youtube channel about it.
You have to pay $9.99 in shipping costs, but the box is free – You can get a free Noobie Baby Box here if you’d like! It is very similar to baby registry freebies.
Course, you can get the Noobie Box Pregnancy Box with free shipping when you place an order of $29+ which may be why you’d like to know about their paid Noobie Boxes!
At the time, I didn’t realize that after pregnancy, they had subscription boxes for babies, as well as gift boxes for parents – Noobie Parents and Noobie Nurse.
But, I’ve since checked them out for myself and my babies. Here’s what you need to know about the ones for babies.
Noobie Box Year of Wonder Boxes for Babies
Noobie Box’s A Year of Wonders consists of 4 milestone baby boxes for your baby’s first year of life:
- Noobie Nest
- Noobie Eat
- Noobie Play
- Noobie One
Each box comes with 5 full-sized products for your baby, perfect for each milestone age.
You can subscribe to the whole series of boxes for $129.95 or pick and choose individual boxes for $38.95. All boxes come with free USA shipping.
You can use code NOOBIEFAGAN for 20% off your order though!
After I had my fifth child, I actually received all four boxes in the Year of Wonders series starting in the summer of 2018 but I never got around to making a formal write-up and review of them, though I took photos and videos at the time.
Oops!
Noobie Box reached out to me and asked if I’d like to receive another Year of Wonder boxes in exchange for review and to update my audience on what to expect from them, and I agreed, so here we are!
The bonus for you is that you’ll get a glimpse into what they have offered in the past, as well as what they are currently offering now in 2021.
Either way, you can always see what they are currently sending out in each box right on the Noobie Box website! There is no guessing or surprises!
I actually kinda love that. It helps you be a more informed consumer, maybe skipping a box altogether if you already have those items, for example.
Today I’m going to only do the write-up for the Noobie Nest Baby Box, showing both the one I received in 2018 and the one I just received January 2021. Next, I will review the Noobie Play box!
Noobie Nest Box Unboxing
You can see my Noobie Nest Box Unboxing video on my Youtube channel or watch below:
January 2021 Noobie Nest Box Contents:
- Gund Flappy the Elephant stuffed rattle ($9.99)
- Pehr Muslin little lamb mini multi-purpose cloth ($14)
- SwaddleDesigns cotton muslin star swaddle blanket ($14.99)
- Vivaiodays no tears wash/shampoo & olive oil rescue balm gel ($12 and $24)
- Wee Gallery high contrast black and white art cards for baby ($15.99)
Altogether the contents of the box have a $90.97 value! That’s more than double the cost of the box (less than $40 in case you forgot).
Plus, Noobie Box often has coupon codes including in their boxes for these brands, in case you like them, so you can order other products from those brands for even less! They range from 10% off up to 35% off full-priced items!
My thoughts on the items:
I do love a good swaddle blanket (though I already have several), the elephant rattle has been a big hit with my babies, and I’m enjoying using that olive oil balm on my nipples and dry skin, but I don’t see me using the art cards, the baby wash (I have SO much baby wash right now it might last me until these babies are five), or the multi-purpose cloth (as it’s just a weird small size).
Receiving two blankets wasn’t my favorite, and as a non-first-time mom, I just don’t see me using those flashcards. 😆
But, all high-quality items nonetheless. I’m just picky, and a mom of seven kids.
The box I received in July 2018 contained:
- Bioderma non-rinse cleansing milk baby wash ($17.99)
- Pehr Big Top wrap me up muslin swaddle blanket ($24)
- JoJo Bunny ($10)
- BogginHead paci grip for teether and toys ($5.97)
- Belli anti-blemish facial wash cleanse ($22)
- Carter’s newborn sleep outfit ($18)
Altogether the value of the products received was $97.96. At the time the box was only $29.99 though! So it was an even better deal than what they are sending and charging now!
Course, I am using current prices for those items (and guessing on some of them, like the JoJo bunny and the Carter’s outfit), but most prices have gone up over the last 2.5 years.
Of those items I received, I have only ever used the outfit and the swaddle. 😬 I don’t think I ever used either the cleanser or the baby wash.
Again, I just have so much of some of these items, and I don’t go through personal care items fast. We got rid of the JoJo bunny and the paci clip. My baby at that time didn’t take a pacifier.
They are, again, great items, especially if you are a first-time or second-time mom who needs a few little extras, or are looking to try out some new bath and baby products!
I still think it’s a great deal (especially as you can know exactly what products you are receiving ahead of time).
Be sure to use promo code NOOBIEFAGAN for 20% off any Noobie Box order to make it an even better deal!
